I'm Just Going to...

Do it all.

After waking up to my daughter coming down from her fever, I started to think of all the things I ever dreamed of doing and realized I never needed to stick to only one thing. I'm not sure why I did, but it inspired me to write about this epiphany I had before the sun had even rose.

I was always very expressive, growing up. I loved to sing and dance, and I enjoyed conversations with others older than me. I was curious and playful, and that only continued the older I got.

I wondered if I could muster up the courage to be a performer, but I wasn't so sure. Then I got really into the thought of interior design when I was in 6th grade and gave my teacher, Mrs. Burhart, a picture I drew of a house filled with furniture and decor. I really enjoyed drawing it.

After nearly 30 years of wondering what I should actually invest in and focus on for a profession, my "life's work", I realize I can let my inspiration lead me to do whatever and I can dip my hands in for however long or to whatever extent. Letting myself experience and feel things out that way would actually help me to live more intuitively, too.

So yeah, that's what I've decided I'm going to do, all the things my heart wants to do. And I'll do them my own way, however that looks.

I believe living this way, intuitively and authentically, will lead me to having greatest impact I can have in the world.

I am truly excited for what's to come.

And that's why I'm writing this on a whim and posting it before 6:00 AM on a website that is not yet fully put together.
