A happy 36th birthday to my husband <3

Yep, his birthday falls on Halloween.

My husband and I actually met on his birthday 4 years ago. It was a Sunday and I originally had plans to go dancing with a friend, but he never texted me because the event was cancelled. I ended up plan-less, but not really because divine intervention.

Who did text me that day though was a former co-worker of mine, asking if I had plans that day. Later on, he would invite me to go out to celebrate his friend's birthday. I was reluctant, but said yes, sensing I was meant to meet someone. Hours later, a couple of their friends picked me up and we headed out to Nassau.

He had returned from taking his daughter trick-or-treating and seemed upset. I asked him if he was the birthday boy then handed him a bracelet I made him. I was making jewelry at the time. I felt shy about giving it to him because I saw he already had a couple bracelets on already, but that also made it feel right.

I felt drawn to him. Pictures taken caught me gazing at him. Creepy but cute. It was clear he was the person I was meant to meet that night.

Fast forward and we've been married 3 months now. Our union, our daughter, being surrounded by family are all dreams come true.

What's next... we'll see, but I look forward to what our future holds while I am very grateful for my husband, and growing with him (and our kiddos).
